Tucson Track Club was founded in 2025 to foster a community united by a passion for competitive running in Tucson, Arizona. We take running seriously, but not too seriously - our goal is to push each other towards personal and collective goals through dedication, camaraderie, and the occasional (or frequent) post-run drink. We are committed to achieving our goals, building meaningful relationships, and making a lasting impact on Tucson’s running community.
What to expect at Tucson Track Club:
Tuesday track sets starting at 5:45 pm (adjusted seasonally) at Orange Grove Middle School. Expect anywhere from 2-5 miles of "work". Feel free to adjust, adapt, or BYO workout.
Thursday night "Trail Club" starting at 6:00 pm (adjusted seasonally) - Trail/Route announced weekly, expect 60 minutes of running on some of Tucson's most iconic trails. We host multiple pace groups and often do out-and-back routes.
Saturday Long Run group, meeting at 7:30 am (adjusted seasonally) at St. Phillip's Plaza, followed by coffee and breakfast at Ren Coffeehouse.
Members are encouraged to train year-round and to compete on road, track, and/or trail, focusing primarily on distances from 1 mile to the marathon (and beyond)! Each year, our runners toe the line in many local and regional races throughout the southwest, and several will also compete at iconic races at the national/international level.
